
The computer labs, implemented on islands with collaborative format, also serve as transitional environments which can be used are formal and informal learning spaces as well as a work space for the individual or work group, facilitating and improving learning in the new millennium.
It should be emphasized that the learning process does not only come from the classroom time but it also can be done anytime or anywhere. Additional the students gather together to study, develop projects and share information, all of which can take place in various areas across campus such as: hallways, libraries, gardens, cafeterias, and reunion areas. This is why it is necessary to fill these areas with technology and furniture to help facilitate their needs. This is where informal learning takes place.
These can be used as formal or informal learning spaces for individual work or team work helping and improving the learning process in this new millennium.
